I’m Rachel, I take pride in being a warm and engaging therapist who specializes in working with young children, neurodivergent individuals, and the families who support them. I work with children as young as 4, teens, college students, and young adults, with a primary focus on autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning differences, and developmental challenges. I also enjoy supporting parents, siblings, and caregivers as they navigate the unique experiences and emotional demands that can accompany neurodivergence within the family system.
With a background in both special education and school-based mental health, I bring a strong understanding of child development, emotional regulation, learning differences, and social-emotional growth into my clinical work. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a special education teacher in a TK–Kindergarten autism classroom and have extensive experience supporting children and young adults with diverse abilities across school and community settings. My experience collaborating with families, teachers, and support teams allows me to provide thoughtful, practical support that extends beyond the therapy room.
I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem challenges, peer struggles, school-related stress, behavioral concerns, family transitions, and social difficulties. I am especially passionate about helping children build confidence, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and feel understood and supported for who they are.
