Jean Day, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and periods of uncertainty or change. Life can sometimes shift before we feel ready—whether through a changing relationship, a new chapter, questions about identity or purpose, or simply the feeling that something is no longer working. I provide a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space to explore these experiences, better understand what may be happening beneath the surface, and develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence moving forward.

I have a particular interest in women’s wellness and the emotional, psychological, and relational changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause. I also work with individuals impacted by addiction and recovery, helping clients understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful and sustainable change.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporate evidence-based strategies to help clients manage difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, improve relationships, and build lives that are more aligned with their values. My additional training as a certified life coach, hypnotherapist, and Reiki practitioner allows me to bring a holistic perspective to therapy while tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be honest, curious, and open to exploring what comes next. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Together, we can identify what may be keeping you stuck, reconnect with your strengths, and work toward greater clarity, self-compassion, confidence, and fulfillment. My goal is not simply to help you through a difficult chapter, but to help you create a life that feels more authentic, intentional, and genuinely your own.
