Meet Alexander Escobar, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I’m Alexander Escobar, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting children, teens, young adults, and adults from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. I have extensive experience working with male youth and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, school-related stress, family conflict, behavioral concerns, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, play therapy techniques, interpersonal neurobiology, and behavioral interventions when appropriate. My work is rooted in a person-centered framework, helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional resilience, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

I have experience working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences, including members of LGBTQ+ communities, and I value creating a respectful and supportive therapeutic space for every client I work with.

I believe therapy can be a powerful space for healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change. Whether a client is seeking support through a difficult period, working toward personal goals, or looking to better understand themselves, I am committed to helping them move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
